Acceptable use policy

The acceptable use policy is not a legal or binding document but is intended to communicate the intent and spirit of the acceptable use scenarios for this service, and more explicitly, the inacceptable use scenarios. Laws and auhtorities that govern you always take priority, and then our own policies apply and agreements between us.

Commercial and professional use is not welcome (for now)

Put simply, you do not have our approval to use this service for commercial or professional purposes. Gogoo.se is meant to be used within its own confines, and not as a provider/host for third party services. The acceptable uses of this service is for personal, creative, or hobbyist use. This is a small project and we aren't equipped to handle large amounts of traffic, so commercial or professional use is prohibited, This will change once we are out of the initial testing phase.

Commercial use means using this service as a host/cdn or hotlinking for your ecommerce/business or any other site that generates revenue through ads or any form of monetization, excluding donations.

At a later point, this kind of abuse will not be possible because of how the service will develop. But it is an open service currently and less strict. We will not play whack-a-mole with this issue and will enable the file page and enforce captchas, hmac and expirations if need be.

Content that will be held in contempt

Instead of writing out a comprehensive list, we'll just be blunt. Any content or use that causes us trouble, even if not explicitly prohibited, will be removed or mitigated.

Users found in violation of our terms or this policy may be suspended, limited or lose access to functionality, or have their content removed. We collect information about user activity, authenticated and not, and are more than willing to co-operate with any reputable authoritative bodies for any serious violations of the above.
